Term: ShadowMeshBase

A MeshBase that "shadows" a data source outside of InfoGrid by means of the Probe Framework. The data source itself is accessed and parsed through a Probe.

The result of the "shadowing" is that information held outside of InfoGrid appears as if it was a set of native, related MeshObjects. This represents a major simplification for the programming of applications that use external data feeds.
