Term: Node
An InfoGrid Node is a unit of execution (“running processâ€) of any (distributed) InfoGrid system.
For example, a distributed InfoGrid system may consist of 10 client Nodes (on PCs and mobile devices) and 2 server Nodes (on servers), communicating with each other using XPRISO.
Each Node manages at least one NetMeshBase.
