Term: Differencer

Short for IterableMeshBaseDifferencer. The differencer can determine the differences in the content of two MeshBases. It is similar to the well-known diff tool, but works on MeshObjectGraphs instead of text files.

The differencer is a key ingredient of the InfoGrid Probe Framework to determine "what changed" since the last run of a Probe. However, it can also be used outside of the Probe Framework.
